Our Story
Kermit’s Disposal is a family owned business started in 1998 by Kermit Lindgren, with a truck and a few dumpsters. Over the years as the company grew, his son Eric joined the team. In 2005, Kermit bought another company and it came with a truck, dumpsters, and a driver (me!). The three of us were the “A Team” for many years. Kermit valued both his customers and employees, and had a reputation as a great guy to do business with. I really enjoyed working for him also.
When Kermit decided to retire in 2017, my husband Brent and I took over the company. We have been a team for a long time. In fact, Brent taught me how to drive roll-off trucks when I was a teenager right out of high school! So it was natural for us to team up and take over the business. Our kids also get involved in the business by helping wash the trucks and tarp dumpsters (visit our Instagram page to see photos of them in action!)
Building on Kermit’s legacy of personalized and affordable service, we are proud to also be a woman-owned business in the construction field, where woman are typically under-represented. Not only do we strive to stand out amongst our competitors, we also hope to inspire other women to pursue careers in the construction field.
We hope to have the opportunity to serve you. And if you see one of our trucks on the road, give us a honk or a wave - we LOVE it!
